Who We Are
About the Foundation
Our Story
Born of Conviction,
Sustained by Purpose
The Bob Rightman Foundation was established on one uncompromising belief: that systemic poverty and the absence of opportunity are not inevitable, but solvable problems that yield to sustained, principled action.
What began as a modest charity home has grown into a multi-programme organisation running schools, a skills centre, an orphanage, a water factory, a restaurant, and farming operations — all of which collectively sustain our humanitarian mission.
We do not offer charity in the classical sense. We invest in people — their minds, their capabilities, their futures — and we build the economic infrastructure that makes that investment perpetually renewable.
Mission
What We Are Here to Do
To uplift the lives of Nigeria's less privileged children and families through sustainable, community-driven programmes in education, welfare, skills development, and economic empowerment — ensuring every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and belonging.
Vision
The World We Are Building
A Nigeria where no child grows up without shelter, food, education, or purpose — where communities once defined by deprivation become pillars of self-reliance, and where the transformative power of compassion outlasts every generation.
Core Values
Integrity
Every programme and financial decision is carried out with full transparency and accountability to our beneficiaries and donors.
Compassion
Genuine regard for the dignity and wellbeing of every person we serve underpins every choice we make as an organisation.
Sustainability
We design for permanence — social enterprises that generate the income to sustain humanitarian goals indefinitely.
Community
We work alongside communities, not merely for them. Local voices, perspectives, and participation are non-negotiable.
